Our purpose
Goals
- Map the state of health innovation in Colombia and identify the outstanding innovations carried out by the different actors in the ecosystem.
- Identify a greater number of actors and characterize innovative solutions at the national, regional and local level, reaching the deepest and most remote places in the country and those where initiatives are developed that manage to have a positive impact on maturity of the Health Innovation Ecosystem.
- Understand the maturity level of the ecosystem, the solutions and the actors.
- Exhaustively characterize the purpose of said innovations.
- Improve the data collection process for the analysis and conclusions of the PINNOS 2023 report.
- Generate an information search engine that allows the agents of the Health Innovation Ecosystem to consult the initiatives underway within the health categories that may be of interest to achieve articulation with other actors and promote high-impact projects for the sector and society.
- Enable PINNOS as a tool for the design of Mission-oriented Health Innovation Policies and Strategies (PISOMs).
- Make visible innovative initiatives to contribute to the health of Colombians, to the productive development of the health sector – and its subsectors – and to the transformation of the country’s health system, through innovation processes based on research and development, in social innovation and technology-based innovation
How do we achieve it?
- Delivering to the community an annual report on the state of the national health innovation ecosystem.
- Making actors visible according to roles, contributions and categories in the health innovation ecosystem.
Holding an event to recognize contributions to health innovation in the country. - The data persists in a relational database on the web, which guarantees consistency of information.
- Possibility of connection with different information systems through APIS.
